TDs and Hosts: We have many helpers in the club who do a wonderful job. BUT, our tournaments are growing in size and more help is needed to avoid low registration limit for our tournaments. We need Hosts and TDs who can show initiative, and help out in 2-5 tournaments per month in average. Maybe YOU are the person we are looking for? Click HERE for more info.

Reporting a game:

For several reasons, you may want to report a board played in one of our tourneys. This must be done in ENGLISH, attached documentation and exact board details and sent to: play@bridgefriend.com At that address, neutral, highly qualified persons will look into it.

Participation Prizes

From 2010, there will be awarded participation prizes for SuperMembers participating in SB tourneys. These prizes will be randomly awarded to SuperMembers who have participated in minimum 50 % of the tourneys in each of the 4 tournament types through the year. Are you not SuperMember yet? Log in to read more…. Now YOU can check the status of YOUR participation YOURSELF. Go to the RANKING section (link to the left) for checking your status, and planning of extra activity where it is needed, to have chances for prizes. Every tournament type that is counting, can be checked. The lists are sorted on member number.  Bidding/Alerting/Explanations

In the ‘Members’ section of this web-site is now created a section where it is given examples of bids that should be alerted and how explanations of bids should be done. This is meant as a main guideline for players and directors. Please read this section and give feedback. It is made place for suggestions and comments from members.

Limit on number players in our tourneys

Number of TDs registered to run a tourney regulate how many players can join that tourney. It MAY be limitations on number pairs (players) in our tournaments where we have not enough TDs registered. If limit is filled, offline players (pairs) will be removed ca. 3 minutes before tourney starts. Full is Full. Mixed Pairs tourneys will close registration ca. 5 minutes before start. This is to give the TDs/Hosts a possibility to get an overview if any not mixed pairs have signed in, ( These must expect to be subbed out and get warning)
